It’ll be raining cameras at the PhotoPlus Expo which kicks off this Thursday October 25th, but if you want to get some quality one-on-one time with the new Leica S medium-format camera then mark your calendar book – that’s still a thing, right? – for a date at Milk Studios.
The fun begins on Thursday and Friday between 11am to 5pm. You’ll have the chance to put the Leica S through its paces in Studio A with three special photo ops including a showcase of models wearing Fashion Designer Peter Som’s designs, a dance performance by Broadway Dance Center students, and a performance by a NYC-based indie rock band.
Fashion Photographer Morgan Miller will be available on both days between 1 to 3pm to share his photography insights, and an ILFORD specialist will be on hand to make prints from images shot at the S-Studio. And for those wanting to get outside, the Leica Akademie will host walking sessions along the scenic High Line of Manhattan’s West Side, led by street style photographer William Yan. Reserve your spot now at firstname.lastname@example.org.
