Thomsen is a young, independent, Parisian clothing line, that’s known for its cotton plaid shirts, designed by Alix Thomsen wife of Lionel Bensemoun (Le Baron, Nanashi, La Fidelité, La Clique). Growing slowly with each new season (a pace that’s always best for grass roots, independent brands), Thomsen threw what should go down as one of the most original and unique presentations of the week in Paris. Wearing the spring-summer collection was an allstar choir made up of the faces from Le Baron night-club. Singer and DJ Natalie Le Jeune alongside actress Cécile Cassel (who has her own band, Holly Siz) led the choir that included DJ Noemie Sunshine Ferst, DJ Greg Boust, Chloe Nataf, Nadége Winter (Brunch Bazar), infact many of the faces that are usually seen behind the decks or partying late into the night in the City Of Lights. Like every capital city, Paris has its own tribes and each supports the creative endeavours of its members so it was a real family feel at the Thomsen presentation that was a group performance scored by producer Séverin. The track, just press play below, had the crowd gathered in a new basement room at the Nanashi Bento restaurant off Rue Charlot in the Marais, whooped and cheered as the bassline dropped.
