A striking, deep cerise matte lip was the key feature being applied by make-up artists led by Lucia Pieroni on models for the Rochas runway show, designed by Marco Zanini. A barely there and pale base was applied to faces with just a hint of brown kohl to define brows and eyes. This was the palette upon which the matte raspberry, actually a blend of Clé de Peau Extra Rich Lipsticks in R1 and R2, was applied onto lips. Some of the models wore silk visors made by Lemarié, the French feather specialist that has a history that spans back to 1880 when it first opened in Paris. The visors were shaped to fall over the models faces, the idea was that the Rochas girl prefers to protect her skin from the sun.
