MADE IN PARIS GIVES INAUGURAL DINNER
September 28, 2012 / Sarah HayLast night MADE founders Jenne Lombardo, Mazdack Rassi and Keith Baptista held a dinner with one hundred invited guests at the world famous Les Deux Magots restaurant in St. Germain. The dinner, given to celebrate the launch of MADE fashion week this season, was attended by each of the eight designers showing with MADE: Gareth Pugh, Julien David, Olympia LeTan, Damir Doma, Ligia Dias and Anthony Vaccarello. Also present were many of the Stateside designers that show at MADE in New York. French actor Jean Reno chatted over the three course dinner with actresses Rosario Dawson and Léa Seydoux. Model Irina Lazareanu, in a sparkling bodysuit, swapped fashion week news with friends while fashion writer Tim Blanks did the same with Didier Grumbach, President of the Fédération Française de la Couture, du Prêt à Porter des Couturiers et des Créateurs de Mode. Leaving soon after coffee was served, Blanks told us that he had a night of writing reviews for style.com ahead of him. At Les Deux Magots however guests mingled before heading off into the night to continue the party. As guests departed they were presented with custom HTC mobile phones designed by Cushnie et Ochs.
