The atmosphere backstage at the Gareth Pugh show was that of hurried calm. Make-up artists moved quickly to apply a futuristic stripe of red across models eyes and lips which was quickly followed by stylists who pinned sheer muslin over their faces. Once ready, the thirty-three models, who looked like ghostly brides, lined up and waited for their cue to walk the runway which was accompanied by an original soundtrack made by artist Matthew Stone.
