Burgers, booze and Burton… last night was amazing! The penthouse of Milk Studios was filled to the brim for Burton Snowboards’ 2012 Fall/Winter collection party. First off, the launch of Burton’s bright new series of Muppet boards made everyone go bananas. The coolest thing on display for dudes was the new streetwear tech apparel, which features rideable fabrics that can be worn around town without making you look like you got lost on your way to the ski lift. The line has everything from flannels to denim jackets to hoodies that can be worn on the slope and will dry fast when wet.
After the crowd of sunglasses were done eating barbequed burgers, shotgunning a shit-ton of beers, and underestimating the alcohol content of the never ending supply of mint chocolate chip ice cream shots, the night got lost on the dance floor as DJ’s took us back to the 90’s.
Milk Made manned the photobooth with glasses half full of whiskey as swarms of drunk couples and snow bunnies piled in front of the camera to make memories. The ever so cool Jake Burton was also nice enough to come by and drop some knowledge for Milk Made’s cameras right before heading over to the dance floor himself. If every party that Burton throws is this good (which, so far they have been, be it summer or winter.) we will definitely be at every single one.
Three cheers for all our buddies at Burton.
