Our last day in the desert was our best - along with our friends Rocco and Escape LA, Henri and Emma from Tea ‘n Crumpet and the extended Radiohead “Family”, we threw a little afternoon get together for Nigel Godrich and From The Basement.

Nigel was joined on the decks by Coachella headliners Thom Yorke and Colin Greenwood who got the crowd dancing with some deeply layered musical configurations - the set focused on the beats, one minute laying down an obscure dance jam and the next jumping to a remix of Fela Kuti, the father of afrobeat and a master of rhythm. Also spinning were the dynamic DJ-duo of Here We Go Magic’s Jen Turner and DJ Henri who kept the dance party going into the early evening before everyone headed off to Coachella for Dre, Snoop and a Tupac hologram.
