After a long day spent in the sun by the pool or running around a giant festival, passing out on the floor or being revived by an observant EMT is a reasonable form of order, but for those more adventurous and in the know, the Electric Milk bar hosted by Nur Khan was the place to push it that much further. Sun stained faces streaked across the dance floor like shooting stars, zipping in every direction as people shook their tail feathers to the beats provided by DJ’s David Katz and Cash. The place was packed with partygoers burning the candle at both ends, and as Christopher Hitchens once pointed out, it gave off a beautiful glow. We danced the night away until the wee hours of dawn, exhausting every last particle of energy and leaving it all on the dance floor.
