Coachella: Street Style
April 25, 2012 / Erin KelleherAt Coachella, everything is acceptable, including clothing. If you think you have seen some peculiar ensembles at New York Fashion Week, think again. Sometimes, the goal is oriented strictly for comfort, like during the first two nights of the first weekend when the grounds became unseasonably cold after sunset. However, when someone is waltzing around on seven-inch platforms and a sparkly bikini in fifty degree temperatures, the aim is most likely aesthetic. From casual street style short shorts and crop tops to penguin suits and footed pajamas ornamented with flashing lights, there is no such thing as a faux pas at this jamboree, and the outfit anomaly never ceases.
