Milk Gallery is pleased to announce the opening reception of photographer Shane McCauley’s new photo exhibition 128 Beats Per Minute. The reception is held in conjunction with the launch of McCauley’s photo essay book by the same name. The photos from 128 Beats Per Minute document McCauley’s adventures touring with the iconic DJ Thomas Wesley Pentz, a.k.a. Diplo. The photos span seven years of Diplo’s career, jumping through over thirty different countries full of adoring fans. The book serves as glimpse into the lifestyle of a cultural phenomena who has worked with a myriad of artists the likes Lykke Li, M.I.A. and Snoop Dogg.

The after party will be held nearby at Le Bain located inside The Standard Hotel, and if it’s anything like any of the other Mad Decent parties we’ve been to in the past, we don’t plan on being able to remember all that much of it the following morning.
